The St Helena report and the gap in media

My main concern is jobs for the Saints. After the completion of all of these projects all outside employers and contractors will return to their countries. The Saints will be left to manage and run their own island with little or no help. The money will already have been spent and a lot of it will be overseas, instead of circulating on St Helena. This is one of the reasons why Saints shoud be employed to keep the economy going strong for the benefit of their own island for the future. It baffles me why Saints are employed on Ascension, Falkland Islands, Germany and Britain but can’t find enough work on St Helena when needed. Does it all comes down to wages?   Leslie Thomas
