Governor Mark Capes has promised to summon executive councillors to consider a licence application as soon as legal formalities are sorted. I really hope they can get Saint FM back on air and broadcasting via the web. It was/is a great community station and offered people such as myself on an island half a world a way, a chance to get a real insight into life on St Helena. I for one would be happy to donate towards the costs of providing the online service.
I agree! As a former history teacher I have a historical interest in Saint Helena and enjoyed Saint FM. The station gave to me as well great insight into the life of a community far from my own. I too would be happy to donate towards the costs of providing the online service.
