Family sues over soldier injured in Ascension cycle crash
A soldier who fell off a bicycle during a training exercise on Ascension has been paid an undisclosed sum to fund her daily care, reports the UK-based Chronicle Live website. Joanne Lilley, 41, was on the island preparing for deployment to Afghanistan when she lost control on a bend and hit her head, suffering life-changing damage.
