One good thing leads to another in business on St Helena, judging from a comment made to South Africa’s FM website (that’s short for Financial Mail).
It reports CEO Marius Heyns saying that existing contracts also pave the way for more work. “As the only contractor on the island, it has since come into the running for other work from the British government and the private sector,” says the site.
That’s all very well, Basil, but we know how easy it is to get distracted on St Helena. If the runway looks more like a fairway for golfers, we’ll know why.
Let’s hope the pilots can avoid the bunker …!
