Oil rig lights prompt calls in the night

Saint FM reports receiving calls about lights out at sea off St Helena during the night of Wednesday 22 August 2012. The station says they were the lights of the Atwood Condor, a brand new oil rig being towed on its maiden voyage from Singapore to Trinidad. Click here to see pictures of the rig.

Yacht race organisers seek a home for St Helena crew

An appeal has gone out in South Africa for acommodation for St Helena’s crew in the Governor’s Cup Yacht Race in December.
