Gun owners shoot too near homes, say police

Wild game shooting has been taking place too close to homes, say police on St Helena. Gun users who cause annoyance by firing their weapons within 200 metres of homes or public roads can be given a warning. If they then repeat the offence, they can be fined up to £80 and lose their firearms and licence.
